Scope of use

• Suitable for use under long-run steel roofing where specific drainage and ventilation path is required. 
• Suitable for use in all climate zones in New Zealand for roofing application.
• Can be used with self-supporting or non-self-supporting roof underlays. 
• Can be used with roofs up to and including NZS 3604 Extra High wind zones. 
• Not suitable for roof pitches less than 3 degrees.  Roof pitch below 3 degrees require a Specific Engineering Design.
• As a secondary function, the product may be used for retrofitting walls when a cavity is required between the wall cladding and the wall underlay/insulation material.  Note, specifiers and designers must assess the suitability and compatibility of Thermakraft Drainage Mat for their specific retrofitting project. 

General

• Thermakraft Drainage Mat is made from polypropylene plastic. Its strand entanglement is designed to withstand compression on forces caused by typical roof fixings.
• Thermakraft Drainage Mat must be clearly specified on the building design plans for council approval prior to installation.
• Unaffected by LOSP or other solvent based treated timber. However, LOSP or other solvent based treated timber must have sufficient time for the solvent to flash off in well ventilated areas. Recommended minimum 7 days.
