Perimeter Damp Proof Course is designed for use as a separation layer to prevent moisture transfer between building materials. It is manufactured using a bitumen saturated kraft paper and is lightly coated with perlite (fine sand).

Perimeter is a tried and tested solution that is extremely easy to use. It comes in a wide range of widths and can be hand-torn to length.

Limitations

• Maximum weather or UV exposure in 7 days.
• Thermakraft Perimeter is NOT a window flashing tape and NOT a thermal break product. 
• Only use Perimeter for damp-proof course (DPC) application. 
• Perimeter must NOT be used in conjunction with LOSP treated timber (Use Supercourse 500 DPC).

Compliance

When Perimeter is used and installed as a damp-proof course and/or concealed flashing behind masonry veneer walls, the product will meet or contribute to meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:

• Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1 (a), 50 years and B.2.3.3.
• Clause E2 External Moisture: Performance E2.3.2 and E2.3.3.  When used as a damp-proof course, the product will meet the requirements of E2.3.3.
